Privacy Policy
Short version: there are no accounts, I do not sell your data, and your saved builds stay in your browser. The site shows ads, which are served by Google and other partners and can use cookies. This page explains the details.
Who is responsible
f1macu.com is run by Max Cullen, an individual based in Queensland, Australia. Contact: [email protected].
What this site stores on your device
The tools save things in your browser's local storage so they work the way you left them. This data stays on your device and is not sent to me.
- Your colour theme choice (light or dark).
- Builds, profiles and settings you create in the tools.
You can remove all of it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings. Exporting a build to a file or code is done in your browser as well.
Screenshot import
Where a tool offers screenshot import, the image is read by text recognition running in your browser. The screenshot is not uploaded to my servers. To run it, your browser downloads the recognition library and language data from a public content network (jsDelivr), so that provider can see your IP address and standard request details when the files are fetched.
Information collected automatically
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical request data such as IP address, browser type and pages requested in order to deliver the site, keep it secure and protect it from abuse. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy. I do not run my own analytics or tracking scripts that identify individual visitors. If that changes I will update this page first.
Advertising and cookies
This site uses Google AdSense to show advertising.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- Ads may be personalised or non-personalised, depending on your location and the choices you make.
- Google and its partners may collect and use identifiers such as cookie IDs, your IP address and device information, and information about the ads you see or interact with, for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention and security.
You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info/choices or, if you are in the EU, youronlinechoices.eu. To learn how Google uses data from sites that use its services, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services, and Google's Privacy Policy.
If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you will be asked for your consent to cookies and personalised ads by a consent message provided through Google's certified consent management platform. You can change or withdraw your choice later using the privacy options on the site where it is offered, or by clearing this site's cookies, which brings the message back.
I do not control the cookies set by Google or its advertising partners, and I do not have access to them.
Other third-party services
| Service | Why |
|---|---|
| Google Fonts | Loads the typefaces used on the pages, which means your browser requests them from Google. |
| Buy Me a Coffee | Voluntary donations. Donation buttons take you to Buy Me a Coffee's own site, and payments are handled by them, not by me. I never see your card details. |
| jsDelivr | Delivers the text recognition library when you use screenshot import. |
| Cloudflare | Hosting, delivery and security. |
| Google AdSense | Advertising, as described above. |
Links to wikis, GitHub and other sites are outside my control and have their own privacy practices.
Email you send me
If you email [email protected], I use your address and message only to reply and to improve the site. I do not add you to mailing lists and I do not share your email. I keep correspondence only as long as it is useful.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EEA and UK, the CCPA/CPRA in California, or Australia's Privacy Act) you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. I do not hold an account or profile about you, so most of this is handled by clearing your browser data and using the ad controls above. For anything else, email [email protected].
I do not sell personal information. California residents can limit personalised ads through the Google and industry opt-out links above.
Children
The site is a general audience site about video games and is not directed to children under 13. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent me personal information, email me and I will delete it.
Changes to this policy
I may update this policy as the site changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
